BatFlat XL

BatFlat XL is an expansion module that attaches to a standard BatFlat to double its overall roosting height and increase available interior space. It aligns directly with the BatFlat and installs using the same mounting hardware, making it a straightforward upgrade for projects that need additional roost capacity without changing the installation approach.

By increasing the vertical roosting area, BatFlat XL provides more space for occupancy and expands the range of internal thermal conditions available within the habitat. BatCap remains compatible with the BatFlat XL configuration, allowing crews to use the same temporary service-cover approach during utility-pole work.

BatCap

BatCap is a bright-orange temporary service cover designed to cap a BatFlat while utility crews perform work on an electric pole. It attaches magnetically and is sized to fit directly onto the head of a compatible hot stick, allowing crews to install and remove it from the ground without climbing or directly handling the BatFlat.

Its high-visibility orange color helps ensure the cover is easy to see during service work and less likely to be left behind. BatCap is intended as a practical utility-access accessory; all use should follow the utility’s approved work practices, training requirements, and applicable electrical-safety procedures.

BatCrap

BatCrap is a removable guano-collection tray designed to mount beneath a BatFlat and help verify bat occupancy during monitoring and research studies. Installed approximately 4 feet above the ground, it provides an accessible collection point for observing and documenting guano without disturbing the roost.

Its adjustable mounting design can be configured for utility poles of different diameters or for flat-surface installation. Each tray spans approximately 90 degrees of a pole, allowing four BatCrap trays to be used together beneath a rocket-style bat house for full circumference coverage.

BatFlat Residential

BatFlat Residential is a durable, dual-chamber bat roost designed for homes, properties, parks, and other non-utility settings. Made from outdoor-ready PETG, it includes integrated ventilation and a dedicated mounting system for flexible installation on trees, poles, and flat surfaces.

The adjustable tree strap secures the unit without penetrating or harming the tree, while integrated mounting hardware locations allow secure attachment to poles, buildings, and other compatible flat surfaces. BatFlat Residential offers a practical, long-lasting way to add bat habitat where it fits best.
